Late last year, I started Seattle Xiangqi, a group that meets monthly to play Xiangqi (Chinese chess). Our group members often complain about the lack of material on Xiangqi strategy in English, and so I’ve been meaning to start blogging about Xiangqi strategy. One of the things that’s really useful in writing about chess strategy is the ability to generate chess diagrams on the fly, instead of having to draw each one from scratch. Even more useful is an interactive diagram that can step through moves one by one.
I’m now using it at the Seattle Xiangqi website, go check it out!
