remote pair programming

This link demonstrates how to use tmux, a terminal multiplexer, to allow multiple users to share a terminal session, which is incredibly useful for collaborating remotely.  With tmux, all users connected to the session are able to control the shared console just as if they were using a terminal on their own machine, including using a text editor.  Paired with Skype, or some other VoIP client, it becomes actually viable to remotely program collaboratively.
